The RODE i-XLR Digital XLR Adapter for Apple iOS Devices is a broadcast quality XLR to Lightning interface for iOS devices. The device allows reporters, correspondents and audio professionals to quickly and easily capture professional interviews and dialogue to a smartphone or tablet. A three meter shielded cable allows the operator to store the phone in a pocket or bag, and a headphone output with adjustable level on the body makes it easy to monitor your audio while recording. The i-XLR gives your dynamic microphone clean gain, giving you a professional mic preamp that you can take anywhere.
Please note, the i-XLR does not provide phantom power, and does not support condenser microphones
